Despite resolving that today would be for homework and taxes, I spent the day writing. So yeah. Ninja’s Honour is going up shortly, as soon as I can walk away enough to get my objective editing goggles on.
There are worse vices I could have, I guess. But geez.

I mean I know it’s not good to have any imbalance but “help I can’t stop writing amazing things” sounds better than my life right now.
Gallant writes smut. He reads the rules before joining FFnet and realize smut is not allowed. Gallant chooses to either not post his fics to FFnet, or post them but realize that he is breaking the rules and they could be deleted at any time. (paragraph break) Goofus writes smut. He does not read the rules before joining. When his stories are deleted he rants about how unfair it is and how evil FFnet is for upholding their own rules. Don’t be a Goofus. Read the freaking rules.
I hate when authors openly ask for reviews or pester you to read their story. If you’re going to keep bugging me and pestering me to read it, I’m not going to. I’ll read of my own accord, thank you.
Asking for a review =/= pestering. If somebody is bugging you constantly or guilt tripping readers, that’s one thing. But putting a “please review!” at the end is more than fair.
Nobody gets paid for fanfic; other than self gratification, comments are the only tangible reward writers get. And yes, it does mean a lot.
Not all badfic is written by young people. People of all ages can write terribly.
