When you get the DVD of a movie and start to notice things you didn’t before.
I’ve been distracted so by how awkward Holley looks when she introduces herself to Mater, that I’ve seen this movie like seven times and just now noticed Mater’s reaction.
“H-Hello. 8/”
“WELL HELLOOO~ B) *WIGGLES EYEBROWS*”
MATER. WHAT. I CAN’T EVEN.
(On a serious note, It makes it all the more adorable and telling that he goes off in a ramble afterward. Mater already is attracted to Holley, but is sure of who he is so much that he doesn’t even consider changing his attitude to impress a girl. It makes it all the more heartbreaking later when he becomes self aware and starts asking “what if I screw up?”)
